These homes will gladly accept domestic, housebroken pets unless otherwise noted. Pets are not permitted on the grounds of any home not designated pet friendly. Any additional restrictions (for example, some property owners only permit dogs) will be noted in the property details. An additional pet fee could be incurred. Hot Tub
These homes feature private (or, in the case of Atlantic View Estates properties, community) hot tubs. Tubs are cleaned and sanitized before each rental. A great way to take the "off season" chill away. As used on our web site, Hot Tub does not mean the traditional wooden tubs found in many mountain ski resorts; in other areas, our Hot Tubs might be called Spas. Most of them are located outside on a deck or poolside; a select few are inside the home and/or adjacent or even built in to the pool. A Jacuzzi is not a Hot Tub; it is a trademark bathtub, in many shapes and sizes, typically found in the bathroom (although a select few homes in our program may have the Jacuzzi inside the master bedroom).

Sheets provided year round. For all full week stays checking in after May 17 and before August 29, 2024 sheets and towels will be provided and beds will be made on check-in day with the exception of top bunks, sofa beds, trundles, and futons (these sheets will be left in the cottage for you). Towel sets include 1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, and 1 washcloth and will be provided for the maximum occupancy of the cottage.

Description
A cargo lift plus a covered dry entry to the ground level makes your stay a breeze from the moment you arrive. Enjoy friendly competition in the game room with foosball table, TV, and mini-fridge. The kids will love having their own space in the two bedrooms on this level, each with a pyramid bunk set. A full bathroom is also on this level.
Sleep tight on the middle level. The king en suite with his-and-her closets opens onto a private shaded deck with sunrise-to-sunset views. Two queen bedrooms open onto a shaded soundview deck. They share a full bathroom off the hall with a third queen bedroom. All four bedrooms on this level provide their own TV. Relax in the hot tub while watching a stunning sunset over the Pamlico Sound or enjoying the splendor of a starry night. The convenient laundry area is situated on the landing between the lower and middle levels.
An additional king en suite upstairs provides its own TV and opens onto a private sundeck with views of both the ocean and the sound. Spend quality family time in the open living and dining area with adjacent kitchen and breakfast bar or step out onto the sundeck to watch for wildlife in the salt marsh behind the home. The kitchen features an additional wet bar sink for added convenience. A half bathroom completes this level.
Unwind at the private pool or launch your windsurfing, or kiteboarding gear right behind the house for a day of fun on the Pamlico Sound. Neighborhood beach access is a short walk away across the street for surfing, fishing, or just enjoying the feeling of sand between your toes.
A short drive will take you to area attractions like the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, Graveyard of the Atlantic Museum, or the free ferry to Ocracoke, as well as plenty of shopping and dining to keep your entire family well-fed and entertained. Your stay in Salty Dog will be a sweet vacation memory.
