Is beach gear included with my stay?
While some of our property options come with beach chairs and coolers included, it’s not a guaranteed feature of your stay. We recommend booking beach gear rentals through Ocean Atlantic Rentals. Our partnership means that they’re happy to drop your rental equipment off at your vacation home and can handle pick up options as well.
Can I park my camper or RV at my Waves, NC rental?
No. When you book your stay through Midgett Realty, we don’t allow guests to park mobile units, RVS, or campers at rental homes.
Can I build a bonfire on the beach if my rental is near the sand?
In most cases, yes! This is a fun, family-friendly experience that many of our guests look forward to enjoying. Beach bonfires are allowed in the area as long as you obtain a free permit ahead of time. The only exception might be when there are high wildfire risks in the area.
What’s the closest airport to use when I’m flying in?
Many travelers heading to the Outer Banks and Hatteras Island choose to fly into Norfolk International Airport (ORF). Once you land, it’s a three-hour drive to Hatteras Island.
