All three bedrooms are on the first level and each room is equipped with a TV.  The king en suite bedroom has direct access to the shaded oceanfront deck, where a comfy porch swing will rock you while you watch the waves roll in.  Take a quick dip in the ocean whenever you get the urge, as the beach is just steps from the door.  A second queen bedroom shares a full bathroom off the hall with a bedroom with two single beds.

On the second level is the open kitchen, living, and dining area with stunning ocean views.  Up a few more steps is a cozy loft area stocked with books, puzzles, and toys, so kiddos can retreat while the adults cook a family feast.  There’s also a comfy sleeper sofa and TV in the loft, so adults wishing to get lost in a good book or catch a cat nap have a place to retreat as well.  After supper head out to the deck from the great room, to meet the mild summer nights and, if you’re lucky…maybe catch a few shooting stars.  A half bathroom is also on this level.  

Grab your beach gear and head into your back yard for a day on the beach. Cast your line in the surf, catch a wave, or catch up on some good beach reading. With the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse in the distance and miles of ocean at your feet, you’ll feast your eyes on unforgettable views from the moment you arrive.  Don't want to be in the sand every day? You can join the fun from the shaded oceanfront decks on the first floor, to help keep score for beach games, or just sit back and relax with a cool glass of lemonade.  You'll see and hear it all from the decks at Penny Lane.

Dining, shopping, and water sports are all nearby, so when you’re ready to explore, there’s plenty of excitement in the area.
